Sadly the solution link is dead.
For those stuck on this, here is how I was able to get my Maschine expansions relocated without re-downloading them -
EASIER WAY - if you have the expansions set up on an external HDD and working on Computer A, and want to add to Computer B - export the registry entries.
1. Open Computer A registry editor - go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\
2. Right click folder of expansion (e.g. Basement Era) - export .reg file
3. Repeat for all expansions, Put .reg files on a thumb drive
4. Open Computer B - import the .reg files
5. Open / refresh native Native Access, it will show as installed
HARDER WAY - If you don't have the content installed elsewhere, you'll need to manually create the registry entries.
1. Open registry editor - Go To Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\
2. Right Click Native Instruments folder - select New - Key - rename folder to Expansion Name (Basement Era)
3. Open created folder - Right click blank space - select New - String Value - rename "ContentDir"
4. Double Click / modify ContentDir - insert File Path as Value Data e.g "D:\NI\Basement Era\"
5. Refresh Native Access - it will show as installed
Here's a pic for reference - NI will add the ContentVersion value automatically when it finds them.
