Wow, da geht's ständig bergauf. V6 rückt immer näher...

Ich verlier da aber total den Überblick, welche Funktionen neu dazu kommen.
Man liest fast täglich von einer neuen Version, die 3 bis 20 neue Features oder Bugfixes hat. Bei der Hälfte weiß ich gar nicht, wofür die sind. Im Cockos Forum jubeln Dutzend Leute, ich komm mir da wie ein Depp vor.
Gibt zwar gleich ein Youtube-Video mit den neuen Funktionen, aber da muss man sich auch erst mal ne halbe Stunde hinsetzen.

Ich warte auf V6, da gibt's dann auch für Dummies wie mich die Hauptneuerungen gut erklärt.
 
Bei REAPER war es nach meiner Erfahrung noch nie eine falsche Entscheidung, ein Update einzuspielen. Du machst damit nichts kaputt.
 
Yupp, ich knall immer die neueste Version drauf. Bei gerade mal 10 MB Installerdatei ist das echt geschmeidig.

Man verliert halt den Überblick, welche Funktionen nun implementiert sind oder wie man den Workflow nun mit neuen Features leichter machen kann.
Trifft auch auf die Userscripts zu, ich mach halt manuell ein paar Schritte, derweil gibts ein Makro.

Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Bin ja gespannt, was in V6 dann kommen soll.
