Hallo!
Bin gespannt was ihr dazu sagt. Hier die Lieder und die Texte:
1. EASIER (nicht ganz INSTUMENTAL...aber fast)
2. THERE WAS A HOLE HERE. IT´S GONE NOW.
3. CHEWING-GUM DAYS
4. A TASTE THAT WILL NOT GO TOO SOON
5. THE BEST PART
~~~ Easier (nicht ganz Instrumental...aber fast) ~~~
Hmmmmm, hmmmmmmm, hmmmmmmmmmm
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Schnipps, schnipps, schnipps, schnipps
Schnipps, schnipps, schnipps, schnipps
~~~ There was a hole here. It´s gone now. ~~~
We were afraid to enter
The living room these days
We knew something would hide behind that door
Something we would be afraid of
We heard [g=90]voices[/g] through the locked door of our room
We saw people with their head hung low
And suddenly our mom stood in the door frame
And she said:
Hey, children
It´s about time
To pack your bags
Hey, children
It´s about time
To leave the house
Hey, children
You´re allowed to
Sleep at your friend
Hey, children
It´s about time
Now that 18 years have passed
I still can feel it somehow
There was a hole here
It´s gone now
And it makes me kinda sick when I think of it
Knowing it will happen to you soon
Suddenly your mom will stay in the door frame
And she´ll say:
Hey, children
It´s about time
To pack your bags
Hey, children
It´s about time
To leave the house
Hey, children
You´re allowed to
Sleep at your friend
Hey, children
It´s about time
~~~ Chewing-gum days ~~~
Time plays funny
Tricks on you
Things seem endless
And your days slow down
You feel helpless
As it shifts and turns around
And though things might look a little messy
There is still a chance
For them to unscramble
And I´m sure you will like what you see
This is your archievement
Missing just one piece
It all adds up so underline it twice
And though it feels horrible
The result is goddamn right
A few chewing-gum days
The first glimpse of anticipation
~~~ A taste that will not go too soon ~~~
Saturday night at a so-called party
I had a conversation with my friend
He said: “There´s something good in it
Cause everything is predetermined.”
I stopped listening and went home
Music behind and the world in front of me
With all its spikes buried deep inside
This feeling wasn´t real, I know
I thought it was the day I died
I thought it was the day I died
Felt the emptyness running down my throat
And it left a taste that will not go too soon
It was too late to sleep so I wrote a song
And the next day I walked up to you
With trembling hands I opened the door
To the living-room where you used to lie
You said: “I guess your friend could be right.”
I saw all hope vanish in your eyes
I thought it was the day I died
I just want one good lie
Just one single lie
Oh, I can believe in
The world´s in front of me
The spikes buried inside
This feeling wasn´t real
It was the day I died
~~~ The best part ~~~
Please stop and rewind it
This is the best part
With all its tragic and its beauty
It always breaks my heart
From this point on there´s nothing special
It ends and the world´s still the same
And I don´t believe in god so
I have no hope you´ve been saved
Saw your pale face on that white pillow
I stumbled a few meaningless words
You could not speak but you looked at me
