aber ich vermute mal, dass irgendjemand schon was für foobar2000 oder WinAmp gebastelt hat.
WinAMP Media Player (now at version 5) is a very popular music player for Windows, and seen as the ultimate player by some.
Its main features are a [g=8]plugin[/g]-based engine and skinning: plugins allow it to support many different file formats, and skins change the appearance of the player (quite radically in version 5). However, no [g=8]plugin[/g] for MusicBrainz was ever developed — this may be due to Gracenote's licensing restrictions — and it only supports their CDDB lookups.
WinAmp is distributed as freeware, although one must pay to enable the [g=420]CD[/g]-ripping functions. Nullsoft, the developer of WinAmp, is owned by AOL, whose recent [WWW] jettisoning of most Nullsoft employees probably spells the [WWW] end of development for WinAmp. .
