Hallo!
Heute hats mich wirklich überkommen. Schon wieder eine Songidee, die mir aber, je länger ich am Schreiben war, immer unheimlicher wurde. Der Grund? Ich finde einfach kein Ende! Mir fallen zwanzigtausend Strophen zum Lied ein, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher wie lange ein Song mit nur 3 Akkorden dauern darf. :-?
Ich habe schonmal die Einleitung + die ersten 8 Strophen eingespielt, damit ihr ne Ahnung bekommt wie es ungefähr sein wird. Vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja Tips geben wie ich vom Text her da noch die Kurve kriegen soll.

I could not ignore

And I – being a good boy –
I did as he said
I found a women quickly
But from that
Moment on
I waited
I waited
I waited all the time
First I waited for a couple of days for her
To recognise me
And when she finally did
It scared the #### out of me
Then I waited for a couple of weeks for me
To be ready to talk with her
And when I finally was
I saw her with her boyfriend
So I waited for the day she left him
And as soon as I could I asked her to go out with me
But she said:
“Give me some time”
So I waited again for a month or two
And one lucky day I had her on the phone
And she told me she lost her believe in men
Now she´s a lesbian
And I watched her girlfriends come and go
And I watched her girlfriends come and go
And I waited I waited I waited I waited I waited
Yeah, I waited for I don´t know how long
But one day I met her and we had a
Conversation about all the faults
She made in the past
And she said: “my sexual experiments are over
And I came to the conclusion I don’t need a partner
I first have to focus
On my career.”
So she kept me waiting for five more years
And that kept me thinking about my love for her
I couldn´t even remember
What I wanted from her in the first place
