The "idea" was to connect the Yamaha RS 7000 over scsi-connection to the scsi-card of my computer (win xp) to use the internal computer HDD as "external HDD" for the RS 7000 (as seen in the Manual).
Special scsi driver ,also from Yamaha, is installed on the comp.
First time running this setup both scsi-unit´s recogniced the other, but no data-transfer was possible.
Next time i tried to use the Groovebox without any connection the
internal operating software crashed while booting.
since then.... DEAD
When turning the Yamaha to on ,there is only the "Yamaha RS 7000" banner on display.
Tried everything to load new os on it, nothing.
Don´t want to believe that it´s total damaged,
and of course no money for Yamaha Service(.. whereever it is).
Please help!
