----- Italian Nights italian nights are on my mind whenever I see the moon (good old moon) it seems I can't forget the time when I met Auntie Jane and her niece in Venice (in Italy) and the sun shone the whole day and I'd say italian nights were great her name was Jill and her golden hair looked so nice in the blue lagoon we took a boat and a gondolier was singing a sweet tune there oh yeah and the sun shone through the trees of Venice italian nights where great and I was pleased Jill and Jane and me we'd go down the piazza shopping mall we laughed a lot and then I bought Jane a white scarf, Jill a blue one italian nights were great oh yeah they were and as we crossed the grand canal the day was about to end we made some plans for the carneval then I left with the words see you there oh yeah (goodbye goodbye) t'was the last time I saw the girls (that's wrong) Jill and Jane (they're gone) italian nights had to end
