Thanxx a lot

I like the super attack acoustic guitar. It works work on my stereo...at least when it's by itself.
Wow! Awesome music. I'm impressed. That doesn't happen often.
This is definitely original sounding - I really like the combination of styles. Mixwise, it must be difficult to meld such contrasting styles together in the one mix, but it all works together pretty well. Sometimes the acoustic gets a little overwhelmed during the heavier sections, so that all you can hear at times is the string attack, & not much of the actual tone. Possible different attack/release ratios on the acoustic guitar's compressor would help to cut down that attack & bring up a little more sustain of the actual note. Possibly a little more high-mids on the acoustic guitars during those sections would help to.
The lead guitar sounds great, but to my ear, the rhythm guitars are a little boxy/muddy sounding - The bass too, could do with a cut to the low mids around 200hz, to leave a bit more room for the rhythm guitars...
There is a "sludge factor" in this particularly when the kick is in double bass mode. These types of problems are a bit tough to figure out. One trick I use when it seems that different instruments are at fault at different times but I'm looking for one cohesive sound for the tune, is do the sweep technique but only with 3dB of boost. I go through the kick, bass, and guitars (all culprits in this mix). The idea is to see which one is the biggest problem. The one that goes the shit the fastest with only 3dB boost is the one that needs to be tamed. Keep on mixing and go from there.
If you are too heavy handed with your treatment you will run into problems. When in doubt go extreme narrow with your cuts. This will allow you to cut 10dB or more of the problem frequency without killing anything good. This assumes your problem is fairly narrow.
I love the production. Some of the guitar stuff is excellent. The all-out shred stuff was probably more fun for you to play than for me to listen to, but some of the more creative stuff gives me that Dragon-force like feeling....I don't hear many creative guitar players. You get 10 points for that.
