soundtheorie meldet heute eine neue Version von Gullfoss wie folgt:
We are happy to announce the release of Gullfoss v1.6.2. Please visit our website to download version 1.6.2.
There have been the following major additions from Gullfoss v1.5.0 onwards:
The Window Size and Display Rate are global and will only update when a new Gullfoss instance is opened. If you want to apply it to all instances, you need to reload your project or restart your DAW.
The audio quality settings are immediately applied after stopping and restarting playback in your DAW. Audio quality is a per-instance setting and will be saved and restored with your project.
With v1.5.0, we have also introduced improved CPU performance on non-Intel processors. So if you are running on AMD, you should get more instances and faster offline rendering times.

There have been the following major additions from Gullfoss v1.5.0 onwards:
- Window Size. You can now choose from five different window sizes: Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, and Huge.
- Display Rate. The equalizer graph refresh rate is now adjustable from 10Hz to 60Hz. This enables you to choose how much temporal detail you wish to see.
- Audio Quality Controls. We have added three quality settings for real-time audio and offline audio rendering. The default quality setting is Normal and is usually sufficient for the highest quality in all but the most pathological cases. We also offer Better and Best settings for both real-time playback and offline rendering for those who require the highest possible quality. We have made Better the default setting for offline rendering. The Best setting will lead to significantly greater (approximately 60%) use of CPU resources compared to Normal.
