Immer wenn man das London Symphony Orchestra, einen guten Arrangeur und einen 60 köpfigen gemischten Chor braucht, ist das alles nicht da. Ich habe es überprüft. Fehlt immer und immer wieder. Deshalb hört sich das Lied jetzt mit Reason-Mitteln nicht ganz so groß an, wie ich es eigentlich im Ohr hätte.
Zuerst sollte es übrigens ganz normal sein. Aber die Stelle "no love, no joy and noone around for you" war im 4/4 Takt einfach zu langsam. Statt sie zu ändern bin ich dann auf 3/4 verfallen. Muss ja auch mal sein, wie Johannes Stauß der jüngere vielleicht dazu gesagt hätte, wobei Johann Strauß der ältere ihm möglicherweise nicht sehr widersprochen hätte.
Das ahaaa am Ende des Refrains ist übrigens, glaube ich, von Elton Johns "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" geklaut.
Das wäre sowieso mal ein Alternativ-Erlebnis, diesen Song in einer Interpretation des 70er Jahre Elton John zu hören statt mit großem Orchester. Stelle ich mir auch schön vor.
